Sprayon® RTV Silicone Sealant SP040

Gaskets-In-A-Can is an incredibly versatile acetoxy cure RTV silicone sealant that is chemically stable and shows little change in physical properties after exposure to sunlight, rain, snow, ozone, temperature extremes and weathering. It is a one-part ready to use material that shows little change in gunability at temperatures from -80°F (-62°C) to 140°F (60°C) permitting the sealant to be applied in any season. Can be used for extended periods at temperatures up to 450°F (232°C) and for shorter periods at temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C)

Recommended Uses: Use for sealing: Skylights, vents, flues, gutters, interior wall surfaces, marine cabins, windows, ductwork, fired heaters, flanged pipe joints, access doors, moving oven belts, industrial ovens and boilers, plywood drying ovens, bag filters on smoke stacks and flues on gas appliances. Use for bonding: Appliance parts, electrical/electronic equipment, signs and sign letters, screwless brackets and plastic materials to metal. Use for adhering: Auto trim, appliance trim, name plates, wheel covers, metal, fabric and fabric backed plastics. Use for caulking: Joints in sheet metal stacks, ductwork, doors, windows, cement and masonry. Use for waterproofing: Tractor cabs and trailers.
